Mohammed Ahmed (Sadek), student of WISE member Magdy Salama, was successful in securing a PDF position with IBM through the Southern Ontario Smart Computing Innovation Platform (SOSCIP). His research addresses weather forecasting for utility applications and helps utility operators predict outages on their transmission and distribution systems.
