The Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE) welcomes Professor Malcolm McCulloch, Head, Energy & Power Group, Department of Engineering Sciences, University of Oxford, UK as a visiting professor to the University of Waterloo.
Professor McCulloch's research interest focuses on low-cost high-value energy systems, technical and socioeconomic assessments of microgrids and the emerging convergences of ICT with the power system. He will be working with professor Jatin Nathwani, Executive Director of WISE, to advance the Global Change Initiative - Affordable Energy for Humanity (AE4H.org).
Professor McCulloch will be at UW until mid-November and would be delighted to meet with WISE members and graduate students who may wish to explore their ideas with him.
He will also be a panelist at the second annual Technology Innovation and Policy Forum 2017 to be held at UW's Federation Hall on November 9th.
WISE members and students are encouraged to register for the conference on November 9th.
