Dear University Community,
Further to our announcement last week regarding the launch of the Metcalf Green Prosperity Challenge to universities in Ontario, we are following up with details on the information webinars being held in the coming weeks.
The webinars will be held on: Thursday, June 27 at 10:30 am and on Wednesday, July 10 at 2:30 pm. (Note: It is not necessary to attend both webinars.) We will give a brief 15-20 minute presentation on the Challenge guidelines and then open it up to questions. We expect the session to run up to an hour.
Please register via EventBrite at: http://metcalf-challenge.eventbrite.ca. Select the date that you would like to attend and complete the registration information.
A reminder that the Metcalf Green Prosperity Challenge is open to university faculty members, graduate students and individuals formally affiliated with a university in Ontario.
We are seeking research-based initiatives that demonstrate ways in which we can significantly reduce pressure on the natural environment in tandem with creating economic and social benefits. Detailed guidelines and an application form are available on our website at: http://metcalffoundation.com/what-we-fund/environment-program/#green-prosperity-challenge
If you have any questions about the Challenge, please contact me at mmacdonald@metcalffoundation.com.
