The Waterloo Region Decarbonization Forum brought together professionals from all across the region to explore and develop a road map to a 100% carbon-free future in Waterloo. WISE is pleased to bring you the final report from the forum process, which highlights key insights and challenges identified, as well as a number of follow-up activities relevant to the ongoing efforts of regional stakeholders.
The forum process was led by Prof. Heather Douglas, WISE Associate Director and Waterloo Chair in Science and Society. The report was co-authored by Prof. Douglas alongside Nigel Moore, WISE Manager and forum facilitator; Mat Thijssen, the University of Waterloo’s Sustainability Manager; and PhD Student Scott Morton-Ninomiya.
