A joint workshop between the University of Waterloo and the University of Bordeaux will take place at Room 1501, Quantum Nano Centre (QNC) from May 19th to 21st, 2014. A session on energy will be hosted by WISE and Waterloo International on 20th and 21st (see below or attached for a program leaflet). Midnight Sun, the UW undergraduate team behind the Solar Rayce Car, has created an Indiegogo campaign called "Fundin' the Sun". The goal of this crowdfunding project is to help finance their next-generation solar car, MS XI, which would be driven on a tour of Ontario in 2015 as part of a campaign to raise awareness in solar initiatives in Canada.
