The combination of the Coronavirus shutdown and the KSA’s (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) attempted punishment of Russia’s oil producers and America’s shale oil frackers has shocked the Canadian oil industry profoundly. Price collapse happened in a few weeks, and no producers in Canada are profitable at the prevalent prices in the third week of April, 2020.
