International Energy Agency (IEA): Technology Collaboration Programme on District Heating and Cooling
Background: Proposals should be based on one or more of the priority themes as set out below.
Proposals on innovative new issues outside these areas will be considered only at the discretion of the Operating Agent). Proposals should have clear relevance to district energy practice and provide a clear contribution to a more sustainable energy system.
- Theme 1: System optimization and asset management
- Theme 2: Cooling & Sub-station Technologies
- Theme 3: Policy Support & Market Development.
Award: $100,000 - $200,000 USD over 3 to 30 months
Fields of Study: District heating and cooling
Eligibility: Project teams should comprise of at least 2 countries (recommended not more than 4), and the lead organization must be a member country of IEA DHC (Canada is a member). Non-member countries can only participate as subcontractors.
