ISTP Canada-India - Two Calls for Proposals for R&D Projects
The Calls invite companies from Canada and India to propose bilateral R&D projects for the joint development of innovative products or processes. Academic institutions are strongly encouraged to participate in the projects as co-investigators. On the Canadian side, funding recipients are eligible to receive up to a maximum of CDN $400,000 or up to 50 percent of the total R&D project value. The Calls invite companies from Canada and Brazil to propose bilateral R&D projects for the joint development of innovative products or processes. On the Canadian side, funding recipients are eligible to receive up to a maximum of CDN $400,000 or up to 50 percent of the total R&D project value. ISTPCanada Announces Two Calls for Proposals for Canada-India R&D Projects Deadline for Expressions of Interest: July 12, 2012 International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTPCanada), Global Innovation & Technology Alliance (GITA) and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) Government of India, are hosting Calls for Proposals (CFP) for industry-led collaborative R&D projects between Canada and India. As part of a new strategic initiative, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) will serve as a key Canadian partner on these Calls and provide funding to academic collaborators on selected bilateral projects. Objective: Companies are invited to propose collaborative R&D projects that:
All Canada-India Calls invite bilateral R&D projects that enable the joint development of innovative products or processes. All Calls require a company to serve as the Canadian project leader. Please find below an overview of eligible project leaders from India for each Call:
Academic institutions, research hospitals, other R&D institutes, are strongly encouraged to participate in the projects as co-investigators in Canada and India. Funding: Canada On the Canadian side, funding recipients are eligible to receive up to a maximum of CDN $400,000 or up to 50 percent of the eligible R&D project value.
Funding: India On the Indian side, recipients are eligible to receive a maximum of CDN $400,000 or up to 50 percent of the total Indian project costs from GITA or DBT. Priority Sectors:
