Message from Waterloo International:

Good Morning,

U15 universities have been invited to identify researchers interested in collaborating with German researchers in three areas: neurosciences / energy and sustainability / citizenship, governance and democracy.

As background: Presidents of the U15 met with counterparts in Germany last March and identified these three areas as priority for collaboration.  A Steering Committee is now exploring individual researcher interest in these areas to establish broader collaboration with 20 participating German universities.  Researchers are invited to express interest in developing new, or deepening existing ties, with one or more of these institutions.   Please note that collaboration with Germany is of strategic interest and priority to the University of Waterloo.

Interested researchers must complete the sheet "THEMES" of the second attachment and send to me by Oct 15, 2012.  Our office will compile a list of researchers to submit to the Steering Committee.
