Students are invited to participate in two exciting poster session opportunities where they will be able to showcase and demonstrate their research initiatives to a national and international audience.
There are two poster session in early October available for students to participate in.
The first event, International Partnership Mixer, takes place on Tuesday, October 1st 2013 between 5pm-7pm in the Davis Centre Fishbowl. The event will provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate their work, and network with senior international delegates from Germany and Japan. Senior representation from private industry will also be attendance. This event will focus discussions around the theme 'Smart Energy Networks'. Students are encouraged to present posters relevant to this theme. Refreshments will be provided during the event.
The second event, Energy Day @ Waterloo, takes place on Friday, October 4 2013 between 9am-1pm in the Davis Centre, with poster sessions available between 10:30am-12:00pm. This free event will feature two panel discussions which students are also encouraged to attend. WISE faculty, staff, and members of the broader public will be in attendance providing a unique engagement opportunity for students. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. To promote high quality presentations, WISE is happy to financially assist students in the amount of $50 (maximum) per poster/demo or on a first come first serve basis.
