The Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE) is pleased to announce the appointment of its Advisory Council.  Members of the Council comprise senior leaders from business community engaged in the development of the energy sector and shaping its future directions. The Council members will help guide our future initiatives, provide input to our strategic research directions and help to further the Institute's goals and mission. The focus of the Institute is to develop innovative solutions to the challenges of the energy sector, to ensure effective knowledge transfer from academia to the commercial realm and to foster paths towards a sustainable energy future.

The University of Waterloo has embraced sustainable energy as a strategic research priority with significant commitments of infrastructure, curriculum and personnel to promote leadership in this important field.
