Abstracts are now being accepted.
The organizers of the 11th Energy Harvesting Workshop invite you to submit abstracts by June 15, 2016. The meeting is hosted by leading researchers in the field and will take place on September 6-7 2016 in Arlington, Virginia. We are asking for abstracts on a number of energy-related topics, including:
· New advances in energy harvesting (piezoelectric, inductive, photovoltaic, thermoelectric, electrostatic, dielectric, electrets, etc.)
· New advances in energy storage (supercapacitors, batteries, fuel cells, microbial cells, etc.)
· Applications (structural and industrial health monitoring, human body network, wireless sensor nodes, telemetry, personal power, etc.)
· Emerging energy harvesting technologies
· Energy efficient electronics for energy harvesters and distribution
· Bio-based energy harvesting
· Smart buildings and smart cities
· Food energy and water nexus
· Wind energy
The workshop will have a robust schedule of speakers and sessions, and will be attended by representatives from leading industries, national labs, government, defense agencies, and academia. We hope you can join us for this landmark event.
Opportunities for sponsorship and exhibitions are available.
If you have colleagues or collaborators who might want to submit an abstract or attend the meeting, please forward this message to them.
More information is available at the conference website. We also have more information on submitting abstracts.
Question? Please contact Lauren Mills millsls@vt.edu or Mandy McCoy amangs1@vt.edu for questions about logistics or registration.
We look forward to your abstract submissions and to seeing you in Arlington in September.
