New OCEPP articles, Essay Contest, 2014 Conference
If you like to stay informed of key engineering and policy matters, we invite you to read our latest published papers. Mary Gallerneault examines policy and related issues of aggregate mining versus agriculture in the Township of Melancthon, while Jack Wallace discusses constructed treatment wetlands in Ontario and the need for a concerted, co-ordinated policy. Their papers are in the Policy Engagement section of the January/February 2014 edition of Engineering Dimensions, the bimonthly magazine of Professional Engineers Ontario.
Entries for the 2014 OCEPP Student Essay Competition are due midnight, March 3 and the winners will receive a $1,000 award, plus registration to the centre's 2014 Engineering and Public Policy Conference. Competition criteria, submission requirements, essay questions, and winning papers from past competitions can be viewed from the For Students page of the OCEPP website.
