Wojciech Golab is an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo. His current research focuses on algorithmic problems in distributed computing with applications to storage, transaction processing, and big data analytics. Prior to joining Waterloo, he worked as a researcher in storage systems at Hewlett-Packard Labs in Palo Alto, and as a post-doctoral fellow in theory at the University of Calgary. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Toronto in 2010.
