Benjamin will present Navigant’s view of the electricity industry transformation taking place across North America and Europe. He will discuss the disruptive triggers, potential future state, and pace of change globally and locally here in Ontario. The discussion will also highlight Navigant’s work with utilities, governments, and suppliers as they grapple with the challenges and opportunities associated with the transformation.

Benjamin Grunfeld is a Managing Director in the Energy Practice at Navigant. He provides strategic advice and analytical expertise to utilities, independent power companies, regulators, and governments. He has considerable experience in the areas of utility strategy and operations, generation and transmission project development and finance, power procurement, regulatory economics, electricity market design, and energy policy. Benjamin has worked in vertically integrated and restructured markets across North America, as well as a range of developed and emerging economies around the world. He is responsible for all aspects of project fulfillment.
