Abstract
This talk will focus on the three projects being pursued at the Walker Environmental landfill in Niagara Falls, Ontario through our landfill gas utilization partnership, Integrated Gas Recovery Services (IGRS).
Biography
Born and raised in St. Catharines, ON, David graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Honours Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. While in university, David worked as a Co-op Student at Imperial Oil, General Motors, Maple Leaf Consumer Foods & Woodbridge Foam Group. Upon graduation, David was hired by Whiting Equipment Canada and worked as a Process Engineer and Project Manager designing, selling & managing evaporation, crystallization and drying capital projects for customers in Canada, United Sates, India, Argentina, Brazil and Spain. .
David currently works as a Project Manager at Walker Environmental Group (a subsidiary of Walker Industries) where he specializes in developing landfill gas (LFG) utilization projects. Walker Environmental is a Canadian leader in Resource Recovery and Waste Management, with a focus on sustainability providing coast-to-coast environmental solutions to municipalities and private businesses. Walkers develops and operates environmental and green energy infrastructure for a circular economy.
